Dr. Peter Schuerman is dedicated to the liberation of innovation. For the last twenty years he has helped countless innovators to have a broader impact through managing intellectual property, negotiating collaboration agreements, and launching startup companies. He is a business development consultant and startup coach specializing in networking, customer discovery, and fundraising tactics. He utilizes principles from natural systems to foster success in business and economic development. Schuerman holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis and a B.S. in Botany from Colorado State University.
Dr. Karen Edwards is an art historian with over twenty years of experience in higher education. She is also a college administrator and workforce development professional. She specializes in online education, inclusive communication, and community outreach with a focus on creating success for emerging artists. Edwards holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Case Western Reserve University, and a B.A. from the University of Dayton.
Steve Frost is an artist, author, consultant, and community organizer. He is Executive Director of the Tasai Foundation and principal consultant at Whitebox Creative and holds a BFA from the University of British Columbia. As an artist-entrepreneur-researcher, Steve is interested in how artists might contribute to actionable knowledge in the realms of socioeconomic, systems and organizational change – particularly through artists’ understanding of sustainable creativity, collaborative community and a capacity to hold space in what is in order for what might be to emerge.
